Fonterra Milk for Schools

All children are eligible to participate in the Fonterra Milk for Schools Programme. Children are given one 180ml carton of milk daily, after lunch. This programme is fully funded by Fonterra Milk for Schools, providing a fridge for milk storage, and wheelie bins to recycle the tetra packs. We are very grateful to have this opportunity.

Parents are required to fill in a consent form, prior to their child being given any milk.

The Fonterra Milk for Schools Programme finishes at the end of 2020, however Goldfields has signed up for their Kickstart Breakfast scheme.

Kickstart Breakfast Programme

Kickstart Breakfast will be beginning in Term 1 of 2021.  Fonterra has teamed with Sanitarium and they will be providing Weet-bix and anchor milk for any student that signs up. Fonterra have donated the fridge and are continuing to supply wheelie bins so we can continue recycling the packaging.

We know that many parents struggle to get the children to eat breakfast early in the  morning.  Having breakfast available at school may make it one less battle for you in the morning and set the children up for a successful day at school.

We anticipate that we will run a breakfast club in room 2 between 8.30.am and 8.55.am.  Once we have finalised things sign up will be via the Skool Loop app permissions.
